The Kanata Seniors’ Centre offers a wide range of recreation programs for adults aged 50 and over. Access to our services is through membership or program registration.
We are located at the rear of the John Mlacak Centre, which also includes an ice surface, Beaverbrook Library and the Kanata Civic Art Gallery. There is a convenient drop-off spot directly in front of the main entrance and parking lot to the side.

Registered programs
Registered programs are structured activities that run weekly or seasonally. You must sign up in advance to participate. Examples include swimming lessons, dance or music classes and summer camps.

Seniors Centre membership pass
Our seniors' centres offer vibrant and inclusive gathering places for adults aged 50 and over. The Seniors' Centre membership pass can be used at the four City-operated facilities listed below and gives access to the older adult drop-ins, such as social games, book clubs, discussion groups and music groups. This cost-saving option is available to people aged 50+ and is valid for one year after purchase.
Fees - 2026
Fees shown do not include HST. Applicable taxes will be added during the payment process.
- Annual membership: $29.18
- Drop-in fee: $2.20 (per visit)
